It was Yuliya hurriedly descending the stairs with a white package in her hands. She approached Cloche with a huge smile on her face.

"Actually, Ronsard has the second part of your gift because we teamed up to make it..." She looked at the window to see if she saw her doppelganger "... So allow me to wait for her to explain how it-"

"CLOCHEEEE~ I HEARD IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY !? COME HERE DUMPLING !"

They got interrupted by the sudden arrival of Sabrina Shelby who was carrying a struggling Ondina Ronsard under her arms. The witch started peppering Cloche's cheeks with kisses.

After the two Ondis managed to get Sabrina away from Cloche, they explained their gift.

"It's a little compilation of love poetry written by grandfather," started O. Ronsard while giving the first package to Cloche "Some of cousin Rook's favorites."

"And Ronsard managed to convince him to read them out loud !" added O. Shelby while giving the other package." We recorded them into cassettes, just for you !"

"Joyeux anniversaire Cloche ! " the two lookalikes said at the same time, one with a flustered expression, the other with a soft smile.

For the ask game, Ondina, someone who looks chill but will actually snap if you start angering her ? Like her grandfather Orion, she gets attached to people easily but it doesn't show that much... She is also very frank and she won't apologise if she hurt someone with the truth.

Cetus would be a good match! He’s a bit like a buffer, and he’s really gentle and calm so the contrast is ahdjhsjdjsjs he also doesn’t mind people getting attached to him and he’d probably spoil her a lot really 🌚🌚

Mordred and Ondina could be fun too! Mor’s also brutally honest at times but he takes sorta a difference approach to it. A bit like foil characters! I like to think they’d have some friendly banter or something shdjhdjdhd

Ondina Ronsard-Shelby, 19 and Orion's descendant. She is someone who follows the law but she's not particularly nice, even when she gets attached to someone. She is devoted to her family (the Ronsard side and the Shelby side) and she hopes to become a judge of the Valley of Thorns later in her life, just like her mother before her...

Octavius Siphon! Dorm leader of Ectocosma and an enigmatic vampire. While he has no real interest in Law , per se. I think he would be fascinated by ondina's interest in it. He's also no killer , able to simply drink the color red out of something. Say an apple. And be entirely satiated. Along with being around those that are inadvertently mean or backhanded , Octavius can take a little bit of sass. He's very casual , despite his elegant and noble aura. Which also adds to their dynamic, being drawn to one another due to their auras but not quite being what the other would really expect!

That’s Pleiade’s only real warning before she sees an uncomfortably large projectile hurdling towards her and at a speed she’s not too sure she’d be comfortable taking head-on.

Though, her thoughts are only interrupted by the abrupt stall in it’s path — and instead, Marian flitters just above her head with that same simpering smile on his face.

The room chills enough to make Ondina’s skin begin to crawl and it’s all-too familiar bite simply tells her that a certain mountain of a man is rapidly approaching.

“Cunégondina Mélusine Ronsard-Shelby.”

Ah, her full name. That’s new. He seems miffed, though that’s not particularly something new.

“Spare me a moment of your schedule to right your wrongs.”

Cloche’ thoughts on…

Yuliya

“Master Yuliya… I don’t know what I can say about her, but she has a pleasant voice.”

• A reasonable person. Maybe it’s because Yuliya is a fellow “outcasted” Ramshackle resident, or if it’s her earnest nature, but Cloche feels a little more at ease by her side. Because of this, Cloche’s polite pleasantries and would come across as a little more genuine, than an obligation due to Yuliya’s older age.

• Please don’t mistake Cloche’s lack of reaction as apathy! She’ll silently play a game of cards with Yuliya for as long as she wants… though Yuliya might have to teach her some of the classics. Though she’s not too well versed in card games, Cloche may reveal a more competitive side if challenged in a game of ‘Egyptian Rat Screw’. After all, the best cat catches the mice, right?

• Cloche doesn’t get the hype of cheering, but can acknowledge the skills and effort put into it. Encouragements feel much more rewarding in small doses. Whenever a Magift game gets too rowdy and the roars of the crowds overwhelm her, she’ll happily tune into Yuliya’s cheers.

• Since finding out about the Yuliya and Ondina swapping from their conversation ‘Binding Bells’ picked up on, Cloche is only encouraged to be on her best behaviour around Yuliya or… “Yuliya”. But wait— What happens if she addresses the wrong master by the wrong name? An instant shock from one of the bells! From then on, Cloche would just call them both “Master Ondina”, which seems to be a viable loophole around the curse’ conditions.

“You have the freedom the refuse the chores pushed on to you but you didn’t… Why is that, Master Yuliya?”

Orion

“If I must come up with something… I suppose Master Orion isn’t a threat?”

• What is someone shining this brightly, like a star, doing in Night Raven College— let alone Ignihyde?! Cloche was skeptical of Orion’s courtesy upon meeting him, but is relieved to find out he’s just like that. Cloche can admire Orion’s pacifism, but a part of her finds the hopeful thoughts to attain peace a little suffocating. Overall, Cloche doesn’t mind running into him from time to time in Ignihyde.

• Please don’t chide her for something she can’t help! Cloche usually keeps her cat-instincts in check, key word: usually. When Cloche is distracted and the animalistic side of her slips out, Cloche would attempt to “paw” (swipe) at Orion’s hair, or just stay still to stare blankly into his eyes with dilated pupils. The way they glow is mesmerizing, like little flickering laser LEDs.

• Family lore. With the little tidbits of what Cloche has been told by Orion, and overheard from ‘Binding Bells’, she learned not to be surprised of who was one of his descendants. (One more person to try to win the “blessings” of.) Cloche finds it intriguing, and would like to know more. To her, it felt like some sort of legendary lineage you’d read in a fantasy novel.

• As a fellow creative, Cloche can appreciate the sonnets and poems Orion would write. …Reading them, she may or may not be studying his cursive. His nicer handwriting seems fairly straightforward but his rushed one? That’s a tough nut to crack.

“You don’t have to …lower yourself to talk to me, Master Orion. It’s really not necessary.”
